Currently there are a list of local stores that accept TymeBank as a payment method. We will be including many international stores and payment methods soon. Using your card for online Gambling on an International website will not be allowed.
Can I cancel my SendMoney transaction?
No. You can’t cancel or reverse a SendMoney transaction. If the money was sent to an incorrect number, and it is not redeemed within 7 days, the money will automatically be reversed into your account at midnight on the 7th day (one week) after the transaction.
Can I cash the money out in batches?
All the money in your GoalSave is cashed out at once when you request a payout. This can be done immediately or with a 10-day notice period.
Can I change the name of my business account after I have registered?
Not just yet. We’re currently working on making this feature available soon.
Can I check my balance at a kiosk?
Yes. You can use the kiosk to access your account and check your EveryDay account balances and any GoalSaves you have open.
Can I choose to skip out the 2nd payment and pay it all on the 3rd payment?
No. Your 2nd and 3rd MoreTyme payments will come off automatically when they are due (30 days and 60 days later respectively). If you miss the second payment, it will come off your account as soon as your balance is high enough.
Can I exceed my available balance sending Money?
No, an online validation message will be displayed: The amount is more than the available account balance
Can I get a secondary card for my family or trusted friends?
Yes, you can request up to 3 secondary cards when you apply for the Credit Card or call us on 0861 007 250 to arrange it.
Can I go to any Doctor?
No, you can only go to a doctor that is contracted to the National HealthCare Network. If you go to a doctor that is not contracted with us, you will have to pay for this consultation.
Can I have more than one active purchase at a time?
Yes. When you open MoreTyme, you’ll see an amount at the top of the screen - that amount tells you how much you can spend at any given time, irrespective of whether you have an active purchase or not.
Can I have my salary paid into my EveryDay Business account and still get the additional interest?
Yes. Your salary can be paid into your EveryDay account or your Business EveryDay account to qualify.
Can I increase the limits, services and benefits I get from TymeBank?
This depends on your profile - learn more about what the different profile types visit the Everyday Personal Account profile limits section.
Can I make larger purchases and pay these off over a budget period?
Yes. When you make a purchase of R200 or more, you can select at the till to spread the repayments over an affordable term of 6 to 36 months.
Can I move money to and from my GoalSave account using the kiosk?
Not yet, but soon you will be able to transfer money between your own accounts at a kiosk.
Can I opt-out of EarlyPay?
No, you can’t. We apply the EarlyPay processing across all credits in the one day and “dated service”.
Can I redeem or withdraw the voucher at anytime?
You can withdraw the cash only during the PnP and Boxer store operating times.
Can I redeem SendMoney Voucher at an ATM Machine, like any of the banks?
No, the voucher can only be cashed out at any PnP and Boxer Store.
Can I rename my GoalSaves?
Yes. You can edit the name of your GoalSaves on Internet Banking and SmartApp
Can I reopen a GoalSave?
Once a GoalSave is paid out, it is closed. You can open a new GoalSave with the same name at any time.
Can I send someone money outside SA?
No, this is only available within South Africa.
Can I shop online if I opened my account online but don’t have my VISA debit card yet?
No. You’ll need to get a bank card and validate the card by making a purchase at a physical store by inserting your card into the Point of Sale and inserting your PIN number. This will alert us to the fact that the card is activated and will enable you

No, you can’t transfer money using a kiosk. If you’d like to do an EFT into another account you can login to our banking app or online banking to do so.
Can I transfer my sms voucher funds to someone else?
No you cannot.

Each transaction has a unique voucher and amount linked to it. You will only be able to redeem one voucher at a time.
Can I use my debit card to shop online?
Yes, you can! Don't forget to toggle the switch from "off" to "on" to enable online transactions. This can be done either within the SmartApp, or Internet Banking channels under the "Card settings" option
Can I use my voucher for purchases?
Once you have successfully cashed the voucher, you may use the cash to purchase.
Can I use other bank’s ATMs? How much does it cost?
Yes, you can withdraw money at any Saswitch ATM around the country, but certain fees will apply. Please see fee structure on our EveryDay Account.
Can I use the kiosk even when there is no TymeBank ambassador/assistant?
Yes, the kiosks are self-service and very easy to use. Simply login and you follow the prompts on the screen to do what you need to do.
Can I view my GoalSave transaction history?
Yes. Your transaction history is available under each of your GoalSaves on Internet Banking and SmartApp.
Can I view my SendMoney transaction history?
Yes, simply visit your transaction history on the SmartApp or Internet Banking. Go to ‘Previous transactions’ in your EveryDay account.
Can I withdraw cash directly from my GoalSave?
You will need to request that the GoalSave is paid out (immediately or after 10 days) and the amount will be transferred to your Everyday account for you to spend.

You will need a very small amount of data to receive push notifications, similar to those you receive from your other apps. If you find yourself running out of data, you can always buy some more in the app.
Do I need to carry my ID document to use the kiosk?
No, if you know your 13-digit ID number you won’t need the original, or a copy, to use at a kiosk.
Do I need to have my cellphone with me, every time I use the kiosk?
Yes. Many of the kiosk transactions need to verify that it really is you who is trying to access your account. TymeBank does this by sending a SMS with a One-Time PIN (OTP) to your cellphone. You will need to enter this OTP to access the kiosk functions.
Do I qualify for an EveryDay Business Account?
You must be an existing TymeBank Personal EveryDay account holder with your details verified at a TymeBank kiosk. This means you need to have opened your account and also received your TymeBank debit card from a kiosk at a Pick n Pay or Boxer store.
Do I use my card PIN or login PIN for USSD?
Please use the PIN you use to log into the TymeBank app or Internet Banking when making a USSD purchase. NOT your card PIN.
Do SendMoney vouchers expire?
